I can't believe the last time I spoke to you was July 2013. I was trying to wrangle an answer from you about coming to my wedding but in true Maggie fashion, you just couldn't commit. I know you wanted to be there and you know we wanted you to come. Just like I know we would've had a blast, singing, dancing, and laughing into the wee hours of the morning, like all those epic college nights so many years ago.
Has it really been 8 years since I heard your voice, your biting humor, dry sarcastic wit? Has it really been a decade since I came to New York for Jeopardy! call backs and asked if I could crash with you and you asked if I thought I was some sort of genius now. Your competitiveness was matched only by your generosity. Thanks to you, I got to watch your Yankees pound my White Sox from behind home plate at Yankee Stadium then watch my phone blow up with texts asking if that was me on TV.
With you, it was always an adventure, it was always fun, always exciting and unexpected. You always made those around you feel good. We lost you too soon, but as any music maven knows, 'only the good die young.' Rest in Peace, Maggie. You'll be forever missed, but never forgotten.
